Curr. 2021 § 6 (2) 7: Students have knowledge in different cultural sociological concepts of modelling the relation between culture and society. They are able to recognize and describe the explanatory power of appropriate concepts for analysing cultural and social processes.

The seminar deepens the understanding of the cultural sociological perspectives introduced in the lecture by discussing theoretical texts and recent examples of cultural analysis. These exemplary studies cover the areas of science, political thought, leisure and body culture as well as life style.
