Knowledge of processes of promoting literature in theory and practice through preparation, participation and follow-up of the excursion.

The excursion accompanies Hohenems Literature 2024, from 14-16 June. For two days, the Vorarlberg town of Hohenems will be characterised by various literary formats. The excursion participants will be involved in planning the "chance encounters" format during the semester. This involves two personalities from the cultural sector meeting and having a public conversation without knowing in advance who they will meet. Insights into the Literaturhaus Hohenems, cultural management, the planning and organisation of events are also offered and there is the opportunity to gain practical experience in moderation, organisation and cultural reporting.

The excursion is supported by an excursion grant from the University of Innsbruck.
