You will be familiar with common processes of literary mediation in theory and practice through preparation, participation and follow-up of an important culture festival.

Every year, the Rauris Literature Festival offers the opportunity to get to know current contemporary literature with regard to a specific topic. The 52nd Rauriser Literaturtage will take place in Rauris from April 73 to April 7, 2024. At the beginning, the Rauris Literature Prize will be awarded for the best first-time prose publication. As part of the annual series of talks "Rauris.University/School" with students from all over Austria, we will organize a public talk of 45 minutes with an author. Three double lessons will be offered for preparation. The participants will be contacted early (end of February) with regard to the organization of the outward journey and their accommodation. After the excursion, there will be an opportunity to publish a review or an interview, possibly in the online magazine LiLiT. A small honorarium will be available for texts selected by a jury.

The excursion is supported by an excursion grant from the University of Innsbruck.
