Expanded knowledge and independent application of art-historical methods on examples referred to in the lecture

The aim of the seminar is to analyse the architectural development of the last 100 years in Tyrol (North, South and East Tyrol) on the basis of central building tasks. Using a single functional task of architecture (social housing, villa, hospital, retirement home, school, hotel, winery, museum, swimming pool, etc.), the basic lines of development will be traced as examples and continuities and breaks in the international context will be analysed in order to be able to place the individual solution in this context of references.
