UE Didactical Basics of Research-Oriented Learning

Students develop a deep understanding of the science matter knowledge concerning a particular research field. They are able to apply this knowledge and develop an Inquiry Base Science Education (IBSE) teaching program. They demonstrate these abilities while practically teaching in selected secondary and high school classes.

Learning theories (constructivism, behaviorism), Scientific Literacy, teaching methods applied in Inquiry based Science Education (IBSE), Nature of Science, scientific writing;

 

lecture, working in small groups, teaching in class

Compulsory attendance, written exam

15´presentation about the teaching program and relevant experiences
