In addition, students acquire the skills to select and implement appropriate intervention techniques depending on the clinical-psychological indication.
The seminar provides basic knowledge of the development of psychophysiological stress reactions as well as mindfulness-based and resource-oriented intervention techniques for coping with stress in adults with mental illness. Indications and contraindications of the respective methods are explained. The focus is on the acquisition of instrumental, mental and regenerative stress skills. In addition, intervention techniques from the fields of clinical hypnosis, mindfulness-based stress reduction, relaxation techniques and biofeedback are presented and tested independently.
