724155 VO Coordination Chemistry for Advanced Students
summer semester 2024 | Last update: 04.12.2023 | Place course on memo listStudents acquire advanced knowledge on applications of inorganic hybrid materials and coordination compounds in current research fields of material science. Students are familiarised with the methods of structure determination by means of metal/heteronuclear NMR-spectroscopy.
Principles, uses and current state of technology of the photochemical obtention of solar energy by means of supramolecular systems, the production of photoelectrical energy from solar energy by means of supramolecular systems; the production of photoelectrical energy from solar energy (photovoltaics, Grätzel cells); comparison with the natural systems of photosynthesis in the framework of coordination chemistry and Markus theory.
Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.
