The students have theoretical and practical knowledge on phytochemical work, they understand the principals of required analytical techniques and test procedures, and they are able to apply them on compendial methods related to medicinal plants.
Introduction to techniques and methods (TLC, titration, GC etc.) for the characterization and quantitative analysis of medicinal plants based on the pharmacopeia, understanding of the theoretical background through practically relevant examples.
