Students are familiar with methods of qualitative inorganic analysis and electrochemical analysis (conductometry, potentiometry, coulometry, voltammetry, amperometry) of inorganic compounds. Students are able to interpret and protocol their results.

By qualitative inorganic analysis, elements or ions (cations and anions) that constitute inorganic salts are identified applying solution methods chemistry, e.g. selective precipitation, complex formation, reactions accompanied by color changes, gas evolution, and others, as well as observation of typical physical properties, e.g. solubility, color, etc.
