During the course students will learn to plan their thesis - and timewise, they will acquire knowledge to handle research topics and transform them into research questions. They are able to plan a research design and to apply suitable research methods.

During the seminar the students will elaborate a research design for their master thesis. This includes: develeping a research question, acquiring knowledge on different research methods an choosing an appropriate method, planning and conducting the empirical study.

Discussion of research ideas, plans, methods; elaboration of research questions; presentation of results, feedback.
