This lecture is an introduction to classical and current debates on international political theory. The lecture aims to familiarize students with theoretical traditions and debates in international political theory so that they can apply them in the analysis of international political phenomena. Starting with the similarities and differences between international theory and international political theory, the lecture categorizes concepts, structures, processes, and actors theoretically. Thereupon the lecture contextualizes recent and current developments of pressing political problems.
