The course focuses on the analysis of media systems in international comparison. The focus is on comparative systems, methods, clustering and the effects on media freedom, freedom of opinion and freedom of the press. In this context, current developments in the area of legislation at the European level also play an important role (Digital Services Act, European Charter of Fundamental Rights, European Media Freedom's Act).
