Ability to independently develop, present and further develop complex subject-related, methodological and theoretical contexts and questions of the subject (if necessary also combined with interdisciplinary perspectives) 

They exist or existed. Writing teachers, i.e. teachers who were also writers. On the one hand, they worked in glamour-free, but subsidised schools, often in rural areas and cultural fringe zones; on the other hand, they were active in the German-language literary field as a relatively illustrious place of cultural practice and economy. Hermann Burger, Erika Burkart, Jakob Christoph Heer, Norbert C. Kaser, Walter Kempowski, Birgitte Kronauer and Ottfried Preußler, to name but a few, had to teach. Teaching was their bread and butter. As soon as they were able to secure their livelihood from writing, many left school. There are also school memoirs written by teachers or their pupils and, last but not least, fictional texts about village school teachers, which were often written by teacher-literati. There are therefore sufficient examples to show that school and literature were not separate, but rather intricately intertwined fields - and thus enough reasons to read the texts about school and teaching with prospective teachers.
