The students will be informed about the multilingual development of the English language system and multilingualism with English as current language contact phenomenon

In this lecture English is analyzed as part of current multilingualism and multilingual language system. Thereby socio- and psycholinguistic aspects of multilingualism are discussed as well as the multilingual roots of the English language.
