winter semester 2024/2025 | Last update: 09.08.2024 | Place course on memo listStudents are able to critically assess and reflect on the challenges of faith practice in everyday life and, based on this, create concepts that can be applied in a pluralistic and secular society. In addition, they are able to transfer Islamic-theologically justifiable solutions to everyday issues.
Students explore and reflect on religious concepts through the lens of selected everyday challenges. Topics covered include dietary practices, religious practices during Ramadan, concepts of truth-making and religious authority, gender relations, consumption and sustainability, sermons, and clothing practices.
