Participants of this module shall be able to acknowledge the role of physics for different processes in nature and technology also from a historical perspective, and illustrate these by selected examples. They are able to prepare similar contents on their own and communicate these in school. They can enrich and accordingly organize their teaching bei appropriate examples.

Historic development of physical concepts, laws and terminology; world views and paradigm changes; important physicists and insights; social and ethical aspects; science philosophical aspects; nature of science.

Lectures and discussions based on power point presentations

Written and oral examination
