With the successful completion of the module the students have in-depth insight into key research questions of geography. They receive theoretical, methodological and substantive suggestions that can use them for the development of the own research project, and expand their critical ability in dealing with scientific literature.
The module is dedicated to the presentation, discussion and critical analysis of selected current topics on the "research fronts" the geography on the basis of the common reading of essential scientific texts.
Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).
Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"
Will be discussed in the first lesson.
- SDG 4 - Quality education: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
- SDG 15 - Life on land: Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.
