Students learn and train the transfer of academic knowledge and and communication of science  based on various formats towards the broad public.

The dialog with the society is a cental task of universities and respective competences in science communication thus highly relevant.
In this course, students learn to explain and present scientific resultas and underlying scientific strategies in a simple, clear and attractive way. Sciecne communication techniques will be teached and trained based on various formats, such as preparation of articles and talks for the broad public or interview situations.

Teaching of basics in block lecture, learning and training of communication techniques as well as feedback in groups.

Active participation (50%) and planning, implementation and evaluation of a presentation (50%).

Between the course dates of February 12 and February 18, 2025, you will work independently and intensively on a presentation format of your choice. Please ensure that you allocate sufficient time for preparing your presentation.
