Basic knowledge of central themes of environmental ethics, climate ethics, and animal ethics.
After a session on climate action and civil disobedience, participants will explore the following topics: contemporary approaches to environmental and animal ethics; human responsibility in the face of the climate crisis; renunciation and the good life in the Anthropocene; the “green” conscience; paths to socio-ecological transformation; concrete examples regarding Tyrol; theology and spirituality.
Lectures, interpretation of texts, class room discussions.
