Learning Outcome:

The students know the structure and the essential contents of medical and health law. Students find their own way in this complex area of law.

Contents:

After a general introduction into medical and health law we will focus on contracts concerning medical treatment, matters of legal compensation and patients rights. Further more we will discuss topics in between law medicine and philosophy like organ transplant, artificial reproduction and the impact of the patients "free will".
