(1) Students deepen their skills (theory, methods, etc.) in the field of their PhD research topic by collaborating and discussing with peers (Lecture part 1) and experienced scientists (Lecture part 2) in the respective field of research

(2) Students increase their mountain research competence beyond their specific research topic by exchanging with peers from other disciplines
