Learning Outcome:

Graduates of the module understand how a legal dispute in the healthcare sector proceeds under procedural law and what role the various actors play in this. They are also familiar with the special forms of out-of-court dispute resolution in the healthcare sector and understand their role in the context of the legal protection system as a whole.

Contents:

General: judicial/extrajudicial disputes
Medical liability procedure: general, preparation of the medical liability process, duty of the lawyer to provide information
The doctor in the trial: as a party, as a witness, as an expert
