Learning Outcome: Enhanced knowledge of selected problem issues and theories of epistemology and epistemological theories; the competence to question these autonomously and to develop further; the ability to produce relationships between epistemology and other philosophical sub-disciplines as well as non-philosophical disciplines, and to estimate the practical usability of philosophical findings; awareness of intercultural similarities and differences between our philosophical ways of thinking.

Learning Outcome: Knowledge of the concepts of formal logic; mastery of the methods of formal logical methods, basic knowledge of metalogic and of the philosophy of logic.
