Module 7: Cultural Studies for Translators II First Foreign Language (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h)

Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory module 3.

Learning Outcome: Knowledge of the ethno-religious and socio-cultural developments of the culture of the countries of the first foreign language. Overview of the current cultural studies phenomena in the cultural area of the first foreign language; the ability to analyse the processes with which to examine the foreign language and ones own processes of cultural understanding.
