Module 1: Seminar for the Bachelor Thesis: Ancient History (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 2 h)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory modules 1, 2, 3 and 9
Learning Outcome: Working through and contextualising information (sources and/or research literature) following the scientific rules of the subject, competence in writing historic scholarly pieces (in formulating, justifying and defending arguments and presentation skills) from a selected topic of Ancient History.
Module 2: Seminar for the Bachelor Thesis: History of the Middle Ages (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 2 h)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory modules 1, 2, 4 and 10
Learning Outcome: Working through and contextualising information (sources and/or research literature) following the scientific rules of the subject, competence in writing historic scholarly pieces (in formulating, justifying and defending arguments and presentation skills) from a selected topic of Middle Ages.
Module 3: Seminar for the Bachelor Thesis: History of Modern Times (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 2 h)

Module 4: Seminar for the Bachelor Thesis: Economic and Social History (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 2 h)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory modules 1, 2, 6 and 12
Learning Outcome: Working through and contextualising information (sources and/or research literature) following the scientific rules of the subject, competence in writing historic scholarly pieces (in formulating, justifying and defending arguments and presentation skills) from a selected topic of Economic and Social History.
Module 5: Seminar for the Bachelor Thesis: Austrian History (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 2 h)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory modules 1, 2, 7 and 13
Learning Outcome: Working through and contextualising information (sources and/or research literature) following the scientific rules of the subject, competence in writing historic scholarly pieces (in formulating, justifying and defending arguments and presentation skills) from a selected topic of Austrian History.
Module 6: Seminar for the Bachelor Thesis: Contemporary History (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 2 h)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory modules 1, 2, 8 and 14
Learning Outcome: Working through and contextualising information (sources and/or research literature) following the scientific rules of the subject, competence in writing historic scholarly pieces (in formulating, justifying and defending arguments and presentation skills) from a selected topic of Contemporary History.
Module 7: Interdisciplinary Skills (7.5 ECTS-Credits)
Prerequisites for registration: The prerequisites of the respective curricula do apply.
Learning Outcome: Acquisition of additional and enhancing competences and skills for other scientific disciplines.
A total of 7.5 ECTS-Credits in teaching units can be obtained from the Bachelor Studies run from the curricula of the University of Innsbruck.
Module 8: Women and Gender Studies (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)

Learning Outcome: Students acquire a basic knowledge of current Women's and Gender Research as well as an overview of the basic findings of critical Gender Research.

Learning Outcome: Students can understand special structures, conflicts and processes and strategies as well as judging policies intended to regulate these.

Learning Outcome: Students are oriented towards the basics of the endogenous processes of the lithosphere and of the dynamic change in the earth's surface on geologicial time scales and possess basic knowledge of the historical development of life.
