Learning Outcome: The ability to reflect on previous learning experiences: insights in various forms of teaching and learning and taking on conceptual perspectives; reflection on one's own religious development and that of others from a theological-cairological perspective.
Elective Module 2: Basics of Didactics of Religion (5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)

Learning Outcome: Taking critical note of and the practical ability to differentiate between the concepts, criteria and reasons for the complex and gender-sensitive reality of teaching and learning in the contexts of school, adult education and community; discussion of the "Innsbruck Model" of religious education as the basis of religious-didactical action in various fields.
Elective Module 3: Developmental Psychology (5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)

Elective Module 4: Methodological Foundations for Philosophizing and Theologizing (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 10 h)

Learning Outcome: Initial familiarity with the specifics of philosophical-theological thinking and working and the beginnings of the development of the integration potential of Biblical Church teaching, philosophical-theological personal experience and scientific reflection on the daily human existence and behaviour, the ability to deal with the technologies and methods of the individual philosophical/theological discipline and grasp the integrational connections of the individual subjects and subject groups; the development of an awareness of philosophical/theological problem issues and the ability to apply suitable scientific methods to the initial reflection on these challenges in an appropriate sociological context; the ability to integrate such questions in the totality of present-day views of the world and its phenomena.
Elective Module 5: Philosophical and Theological Excursion (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 8 h)

Learning Outcome: A better and more lively understanding of the specific content through an expertly-led and prepared viewing on the spot of materials and phenomena not otherwise so easy to appreciate authentically.
Elective Module 6: The People of God in the World Today - Practical Ecclesiology (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)

Learning Outcome: Enhanced insights into ecclesiastical issues focused on current demands in view of global connections.
Elective Module 7: The Identity of the Church in History and Present Times (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)

Learning Outcome: Reflection on the dichotomy between "my being" and "other beings" of Christian identity, diachronically and synchronically developed self-confidence in conflict with "the other" both in the inner-Christian space and various other Churches and towards the outside, especially towards Judaism and Islam.
Elective Module 8: Aesthetics and the Philosophy of Art (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)

Learning Outcome: Knowledge of the concepts, methods, problem issues areas of aesthetics and the philosophy of art, the ability to analyse these contents, to join them together to question independently and to develop further.

Learning Outcome: Basic knowledge of the concepts, methods and problems issues and theories of culture and social philosophy, in-depth knowledge of selected problem issues and theories together with the ability to present these in comprehensible form both orally and in writing. A training in philosophical problem awareness.

Learning Outcome: Students acquire the competence to play a constructive part in interdisciplinary debates.
