Learning Outcome: Specialized problem solving skills in the area of theoretical philosophy for gaining new insights, especially for integrating current research approaches from different disciplines of theoretical philosophy.

Compulsory Module 5: Gender-Specific Aspects (2.5 ECTS-Credits, 2 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Awareness of and reflection on gender-specific aspects in the philosophical and theological disciplines.
Compulsory Module 6: Theoretical Philosophy II (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Ability to academically analyze questions of metaphysics, philosophical theology and the philosophy of religion with special regard to the development of a critical awareness of contemporary problems within these disciplines, as well as at their intersections.
Compulsory Module 7: Theoretical Philosophy III (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Ability to academically analyze problems of philosophical anthropology in special consideration of the development of a critical awareness of current problems within this discipline, but also in the overlapping areas to other disciplines, e.g. empirical psychology.
Compulsory Module 9: Practical Philosophy II (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Ability to academically analyze problems of ethics, social and political philosophy in special consideration of the development of a critical awareness of current problems within these disciplines as well as their overlapping areas.
Compulsory Module 10: Master's Thesis Defense (2.5 ECTS-Credits) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of the compulsory modules 1-9, the elective modules, and the Master's Thesis.
Learning Outcome: Ability to present one's Master's Thesis, to defend it and to respond to questions arising in discussion.
