Learning Outcome: Students acquire an in-depth understanding of methods of music appreciation, conducting ensembles, performing musical scores, and the practical skills required in the areas of instrumental and vocal performances.
Module 2: Art and Application (10 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Due to studies of original works of art and of the issues arising from their specific material quality and their state of preservation students have a profound understanding of Art History as an object science. They also acquire knowledge of field research (sound editing and storing) and basic skills in writing music reviews.
Module 5: Intermediality and Interculturality (Basics) (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students develop fundamentals in the field of intermediality and interculturality research and acquire knowledge in the fields of Literature and Music / Painting / Architecture / Photography / Film / Dance / Video / Installations / New Media as well as Literature and Philosophy / Religion / Economy / Law / Politics / Society / Ecology.
Module 6: Cultural and Social Philosophy I (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Fundamental knowledge of concepts, methods, questions and theories of Cultural and Social Philosophy; consolidated knowledge of selected questions and theories as well as the skill of presenting them in an intelligible way in written and oral form; awareness of philosophical problems.
