Learning Outcome: Students understand higher mathematics and are able to apply their acquired mathematical methods with physical and chemical problems. Students master the basic concepts of physics and understand the basic principles of the way of thinking of physics.
Module 10: Analytical Chemistry C (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 10 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of modules 4, 8, 9
Learning Outcome: Students acquire basic knowledge of the preparation of samples, gravimetric and titrimetric analysis processes and instrumental analysis. They are also able to evaluate measurement data correctly and can interpret it. The students also acquire teamwork skills as well as communication skills both oral and written.
Module 11: Organic Chemistry B (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 6 h) (no courses)

Learning Outcome: Students acquire basic knowledge of the structure and reactivity of organic matter and its characterisation.
Module 12: Physical Chemistry A (5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students acquire the ability to do the quantitative calculation of processes and reactions in chemistry.
Module 13: Biochemistry A (5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)

Learning Outcome: Students have knowledge of the chemical basics and components of living materials and of their catabolism and energy metabolism.
Module 14: Inorganic Chemistry C (5 ECTS-Credits, 6 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students acquire experimental-practical competencies in the synthesis of inorganic compounds of the main and neighbouring groups of elements. Students also acquire key interdisciplinary skills like teamwork and communication skills, both oral and written.
Module 20: Inorganic Chemistry D (5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students acquire basic knowledge of the environmental chemistry of the atmospehre. Students are made familiar with the most important concepts and material science applications of solid body chemistry.
Module 22: Macromolecular Chemistry (2.5 ECTS-Credits, 2 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students acquire basic knowledge of macromolecular chemistry and know the technically most important polymeres.
Module 23: Analytical Chemistry D (2.5 ECTS-Credits, 1 h) (no courses)

Learning Outcome: Students understand the use of radiochemical and radioanalyitcal methods in environment measurement tecniques and in lab medicine.
Module 24: Organic Chemistry D (5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)

Learning Outcome: Students acquire knowledge of the fundamentals of organic-chemical synthetic methods and the absorption spectroscopic basics. Students learn the basics of the structure and reactivity of both natural classes of proteins and of nucline acids.
Module 25: Physical Chemistry D (10 ECTS-Credits, 11 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of module 18
Learning Outcome: Students understand the basics of kinetic and electro-chemical approaches in theory and experiments. They also acquire in Physical-Chemistry Practice II key inter-disciplinary skills including teamwork and oral and written communication skills.
Module 26: Theoretical Chemistry B (2.5 ECTS-Credits, 2 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students acquire knowledge of all the most important methods of computer chemistry, of their appliciations and their limits.
