Elective Module 2: Advanced Botany II (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory module 2
Learning Outcome: Students have basic knowledge of the area of hydrobotany and enhanced knowledge in the area of diversity and the systemics of higher plants (theoretical and practical) and an enhanced understanding of botanical aspects of an habitat.
Elective Module 4: Functional Plant Biology II (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory modules 2, 4 and 7
Learning Outcome: Students are able to plan and carry out on their own experiments in the physiology and ecophysiology of plants.
Elective Module 6: Developmental Biology of Evertebrates (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory module 2, 3 and 4
Learning Outcome: Students have the theoretical and practical basics of the areas of development and evolution.
Elective Module 7: Cell and Animal Physiology (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory modules 2, 4 and 9
Learning Outcome: Students can plan and evaluate physiological animal experiments.
Elective Module 11: Applied Microbiology (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory module 2 and elective module 9
Learning Outcome: Students have knowledge of the various aspects of applied microbiology.
Elective Module 14: Applied Ecology (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h) (no courses)

Learning Outcome: Students have in both theory and practice the skills and knowledge required in dealing with job-relevant issues.

Learning Outcome: Students have in theory and practice the basic knowledge and skills for the functional aspects of ecology.

Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory modules 2 and 12 and elective module 13
Learning Outcome: Students are able to work on a specific ecological issue both theoretically and practically.

Learning Outcome: Students can apply development biological methods for specific problems through selected issues.
