Module 3: Sports Sociology/Sports Psychology (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Knowledge and critical evaluation of the relationships, evaluation and establishment of sport in society, culture and politics; assessment of the social functions and structures of sport awareness of the many-sided processes of sport, perception processes, thinking and emotional processes and their effects on sporting action and competitiveness; a critical estimate of the influence of sporting action on people¿s physical condition.
Module 5: Additional Medical Basics (5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory modules 1 and 2.
Learning Outcome: Knowledge and assessment of the multiple healthy ways to influence the human organism on the sports field through the environment and behaviour, theoretical and practical First Aid knowledge of accidents and emergencies.
Module 7: Training Sciences (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory modules 1, 2 and 4.
Learning Outcome: Knowledge, understanding and practical competence in the training process of motor activity skills with various target groups, the ability to analyse critically and apply a knowledge of training science in its practical use in everyday training.
Module 11: Biomechanics (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory modules 1, 2 and 4.
Learning Outcome: Basic knowledge of kinematics and kinetics, application of bio-mechanical test methods in sport, knowledge of the mechanical features of bones, gristle, filaments, ligaments and muscles, knowledge of the burdening of the musculoskeletal system in sporting activities and of injury mechanics; knowledge of bio-mechanical aspects of sporting achievement.
