Elective Module-A2: Biomedical Technology (7.5 ECTS-Credits)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory module A2 according to § 6 Para 2 No 2.
Learning Outcome: Students possess in-depth knowledge of the fundamental theoretical/methodological and technical fundamentals of picture-based processes in diagnostics and therapy, together with the application of navigation, tele manipulation, robotic-technology and clinical therapy as well as the application of navigational and tele-manipulated robotics technology for clinical therapeutically treatments. Students possess the ability to choose, implement and apply suitable methods for specific problem issues and for their application in a software project. Students are also able to document their experiences in a subject-relevant practical written report and to present the same in the framework of a seminar plenum.
