Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Strengthening of subject-specific skills by work with Sumerian and Akkadian texts; experience in working with cuneiform writing; strengthening of linguistic competence; examination of topics related to the texts with consideration of current research tendencies and controversies; recognition and resolution of linguistic problems, critical evaluation of statements in the texts, autonomous formulation of findings in scientific form as well as a form adaptable to various media, in a format that is intelligible to all.
Module 3A: Cultural Spaces - Excursion: Ancient History and Ancient Oriental Studies (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)

Learning Outcome: Broadening of competences by means of post mortem in museums and historical sites.
Module 3B: Cultural Spaces - Archaeological Training (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: To take autonomous responsibility in organising and leading part of a scientific excavation, as well as to process archaeological findings and complete the relevant documentation.
Module 4B: In Depth Study of Philology III (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)

Learning Outcome: Consolidation of subject-specific knowledge through work with Sumerian and Akkadian texts; experience in working with cuneiform writing; strengthening of linguistic competence; examination of topics related to the texts with consideration of current research tendencies and controversies, recognition and resolution of linguistic problems, critical evaluation of statements in texts, autonomous formulation of findings in scientific form as well as in a format adaptable to different media, and in a format that is intelligible to all.
