Studies Induction and Orientation Period (relevant course examinations)
The following Compulsory Modules covering 75 ECTS-Credits must be passed.
Compulsory Modules (75 ECTS-AP)
Four modules covering 20 ECTS-Credits must be Chosen from the elective modules 1-6.
Elective Modules 1-6 (20 ECTS-Credits)
Two elective modules covering 15 ECTS-Credits must be Chosen from the elective modules 7 to 12.
Elective Modules 7-12 (15 ECTS-Credits)
Two elective modules corresponding to 20 ECTS-Credits must be passed from elective modules 13 to 18.
Elective Modules 13-18 (20 ECTS-Credits)
Three elective modules corresponding to 30 ECTS-Credits must be passed from elective modules 19 to 22.
Elective Modules 19-22 (30 ECTS-Credits)
Elective Module 23: Individual Choice of Specialisation (20 ECTS-Credits)

For individual specialisation modules of the curricula of the bachelor and/or diploma programmes of the University of Innsbruck corresponding to a maximum of 20 ECTS-Credits are to be chosen according to §54 par.1 of the Universities Act. The prerequisites specified by the respective curricula must be met. 10 ECTS-Credits thereof can be replaced by the elective module ¿Internship¿.

Learning Outcome: Students know about possible professional fields and have applied their acquired knowledge and skills in a professional environment. They have gained professional and social experience (organisation and project management, team work in a hierarchically organised institution) and presentation and management experience.
Students of the Bachelor¿s Programme History can test and apply their acquired knowledge and skills, get first-hand experience of the conditions in the professional practice and acquire additional qualifications in an internship covering 200 hours. It is possible to make the internship during the lecture-free period. It is recommended to make the internship abroad.
The internship may only be started after completion of the second semester. Before the start of the internship it must be approved by the Director of Studies.
The internship must be passed in an appropriate institution acc. to §2 par. 2.
The institution must confirm the duration, scope and contents of the internship and a report must be written.Notes:
