Learning Outcome: Broadening and consolidation of expert knowledge in the field of Theoretical Philosophy, competence of expertly dealing with selected questions and theories in Theoretical Philosophy; skill to analyse them based on presentations and lecture of selected texts, relate them, scrutinize them independently, develop them and link them to questions and theories in Practical Philosophy.
Module 2: Special Questions in Practical Philosophy (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)

Learning Outcome: Broadening and consolidation of expert knowledge in the field of Practical Philosophy, competence of expertly dealing with selected questions and theories in Practical Philosophy; skill to analyse them based on presentations and lecture of selected texts, relate them, scrutinize them independently, developthem and link them to questions and theories in Theoretical Philosophy.
Module 3: Special Questions in History of Philosophy (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)

Learning Outcome: Erweiterung und Vertiefung der Fachkenntnisse im Bereich der Geschichte der Philosophie; Vertiefung des philosophischen Problembewusstseins; Befähigung zur spezialisierten Auseinandersetzung mit der Geschichte der Philosophie in systematischer Hinsicht, anhand einzelner Philosophinnen und Philosophen oder bestimmter Werke der Geschichte der Philosophie; Kompetenz, spezielle Fragen der Geschichte der Philosophie zueinander in Beziehung zu setzen, selbstständig zu hinterfragen und als Quellen für gegenwärtige Fragestellungen und Problemlösungen weiterzuentwickeln
Module 4: Special Questions of Contemporary Philosophy (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)

Learning Outcome: Erweiterung und Vertiefung der Kenntnisse ausgewählter Fragestellungen und Theorien der Philosophie der Gegenwart; die Befähigung, ausgewählte Fragestellungen und Theorien der Philosophie der Gegenwart aufgrund von Präsentationen und Lektüren ausgewählter Texte zueinander in Beziehung zu setzen, im Kontext der aktuellen Forschungsdiskussion zu analysieren, selbstständig zu hinterfragen und vor dem Hintergrund des geschichtlichen Kontextes weiterzuentwickeln

Learning Outcome: Broadening and consolidation of knowledge of selected questions and theories in the field of Intercultural Philosophy; raising awareness for problems of philosophising interculturally; hermeneutic and comparative skills; skill to analyze selected questions and theories in Intercultural Philosophy, to scrutinize them independently and to relate them to current social problems.

Learning Outcome: Broadening and consolidation of knowledge of selected questions and theories in the field of Applied Ethics; raising awareness for ethical problems; skill to analyze selected questions and theories in Applied Ethics, to scrutinize them independently and to relate them to current social problems.
Es sind Lehrveranstaltungen im Umfang von 10 ECTS-AP aus den Curricula der an der Universität Innsbruck eingerichteten Master- und/oder Diplomstudien frei zu wählen. Empfohlen werden Lehrveranstaltungen aus dem Bereich Geschlechterforschung
Module 7: Interdisciplinary Skills (10 ECTS-Credits)

Learning Outcome: Erwerb zusätzlicher und vertiefender Kompetenzen und Fertigkeiten aus anderen Wissenschaftsdisziplinen
Zur individuellen Schwerpunktsetzung sind Module aus den Curricula der an der Universität Innsbruck eingerichteten Master- und/oder Diplomstudien im Umfang von 20 ECTS-AP frei zu wählen. Empfohlen werden Module aus fachnahen Bereichen, beispielsweise aus dem Masterstudium Philosophie an der Katholisch-Theologischen Fakultät, oder aus Bereichen, die mit dem Thema der Masterarbeit in Zusammenhang stehen. Die in den jeweiligen Curricula festgelegten Anmeldungsvoraussetzungen sind zu erfüllen.

Learning Outcome: Examination of the Master's Thesis in the overall context of the Master's Programme in Philosophy; with special focus on theoretical comprehension, methodical issues, communication of findings of the Master's Thesis and presentation skills.
