Compulsory Module 1: Introduction to Theology and Philosophy (10 ECTS-Credits, 12 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Initial familiarity with the specifics of philosophical-theological thinking and, working together, with the beginning of the development of the ability to integrate Biblical and Church theory and scientific reflection with day-to-day human existence and behaviour The ability to work autonomously with the techniques and methods of the individual philosophical disciplines and to grasp the way individual subjects and subject groups integrate together; development of an awareness of philosophical issues and of the ability to apply suitable scientific methods and the beginning of reflection on these challenges in appropriate sociological contexts; the ability to integrate such questions with the totality of contemporary ways of seeing the world and its phenomena.
Compulsory Module 2: Philosophy I (10 ECTS-Credits, 8 h)

Learning Outcome: Basic knowledge of systematic philosophy with the emphasis of topics of practical and theoretical philosophy.
Compulsory Module 3: Philosophy II (12.5 ECTS-Credits, 9 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Basic knowledge of systematic historical philosophy with the emphasis on historical-philosophical, religious-philosophical and religious-scientific topics.
Compulsory Module 4: Foundation of Exegesis I (10 ECTS-Credits, 6 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Basic knowledge of the origins of textual history, inherited history and canon history as well as the structure and content of certain scripts and groups of scripts of the Old and New Testaments and initial access to their main ideological predictions connected with an understanding of their unique literary characteristics and the start of the ability to apply exegetical text examples.
Compulsory Module 5: Foundation of Exegesis and Theology of the Bible (10 ECTS-Credits, 6 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: A basic knowledge of the structure and content of certain scripts and groups of scripts of the Old and New Testaments and initial access to their main theological statements connected with an understanding of their unique literary nature and the start of an ability to use exegetical and biblical-logical methods based on textual examples.
Compulsory Module 6: Systematic Theology I (10 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory module 1.
Learning Outcome: Knowledge of the curative meaning of the person of Jesus Christ. Knowledge of the transcendancy of mankind in its creation by God and in its cultural and societal representations as the basis for a redeemed life and action following in Christ's footsteps.
Compulsory Module 7: Systematic Theology II (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory module 1.
Learning Outcome: Knowledge of the way the Church sees itself and its redemptive role in the context of the dramatic current world situation; knowledge of the ethical dimension of relationships, and the ability to judge spiritual experiences on the basis of the Christian faith.
Compulsory Module 8: Systematic Theology III (10 ECTS-Credits, 6 h)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory module 1.
Learning Outcome: Knowledge of the systematic disclosure of the relationship between the Church and the world outside after the dogma and the social teaching of the Church in coming to terms with the problems, tensions and demands of the modern world.
Compulsory Module 9: Historical Theology I (10 ECTS-Credits, 7 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Insights into the most important identity-creating powers in the formative phase of the development of the Church and at the time of the spread of Latin Christianity. Insights into the liturgy and theology of the chief mysteries of the Church (sacramenta maiora).
Compulsory Module 10: Historical Theology II (10 ECTS-Credits, 6 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Insights into the time of the creation of the Western Confessional Churches and the most significant formative powers of the Roman Catholic Church of the New Era and the Present, as well as into the main problems of the current ecumenical dialogues; insights into the celebrations of the forms of service to God as ordered in line with the natural rhythms.
Compulsory Module 11: Practical Theology I (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Insights into the basic questions and criteria of practical theology and its subjects. Acquisition of the basic ability to implement theological insights and concepts of practical theological insights and concepts in specific areas of practical theological insights and concepts in specific pastoral-catechismal and Church law contexts.
Compulsory Module 12: Practical Theology II (5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The ability to come to terms with pastoral-theological issues and action perspectives as well as with the norms of Church law on marriage in view of the pluralist and multicultural realities of modern life.
Compulsory Module 13: Catechetics/Pedagogics (5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory module 1.
Learning Outcome: The ability to reflect on previous learning experiences; Insights into various different forms of teaching and learning from conceptual perspectives, reflection on one's own religious development and that of other people from a conceptual perspective, reflection on your own religious development and that of others from a theological-cairological perspective.
Compulsory Module 14: Basics of Didactics of Religion (5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory module 1.
Learning Outcome: Critical awareness and the ability to differentiate between the concepts, criteria and reasons for the complex and gender-sensitive phenomenon of religious teaching and learning in the contexts of school adult education and local district; debates on the Innsbruck Model of Religious Didactics as the basis of religious-didactics behaviour in various fields.
Compulsory Module 15: Methods of Guiding (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory module 1.
Learning Outcome: Basic insights and qualifications of leadership in Church contexts. Leadership qualities, participation, vision, motivation, roles, charisma, appointment) and for consistent behaviour linked with these qualities.
Compulsory Module 16: Didactics of Religion: Special Issues (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory modules 1 and 14.
Learning Outcome: Learning the relations between practical theological thinking and acting, the theories of other theological and philosophical subjects with regard to the planning and leading of educational processes.
Compulsory Module 17: Gender-specific Aspects (2.5 ECTS-Credits, 2 h)

Learning Outcome: Recognition of and reflection on gender-specific aspects of philosophical-theological disciplines.
