Learning Outcome: The skill to analyse new and/or old texts; consolidated problem awareness by critical examination of special fields of Linguistics.
Module 2: In-Depth Study: Literary Studies (10 ECTS-Credits, 2 h)

Learning Outcome: The skill to interpret texts in German language Literature taking into account (inter)cultural, social and historical relations independently and according to scientific standards.
Module 3: In-Depth Study: Medieval Studies (10 ECTS-Credits, 2 h)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory modules 1 and 4.
Learning Outcome: The students consolidate their text, language and interpretation skills.
