Compulsory Module 8: Schools of Law and Islamic Ethics (10 ECTS-Credits, 6 h)

Learning Outcome: Graduates are able to describe the historical origin and content-related development of the different confessions in Islam and to explain their meaning for everyday life. They are able to recognize the significance of Islamic ethics for the present intercultural and interreligious dialogue. The graduates are able to recognize and implement their ethical responsibility in the present world. They are able to describe the development and importance of philosophy in the Islamic cultural circle and the contribution to the history of philosophy and to represent their importance for the present time.
