Learning Outcome: Graduates of this module - have a knowledge of music history based on reflection of relations an developments, - can resort to a comprehensive understanding of musical epochs, styles and genres and a well-founded repertoire knowledge, - are able to recognize and reflect on music in its historic, social and aesthetic conditions of development and are able to make auditory-stylistic classifications, - are familiar with physical and physiological conditions of sound creation, - know about economic, cultural and socio-political conditions in the field of music making and music reception, - are ready to deal with the emergence and effects of music in a critical and reflected way, beyond the scope of the study programme.
