Compulsory Module 1: Command of the Russian Language (10 ECTS-Credits, 4h)

Learning Outcome: Acquisition of advanced knowledge of lexical and morpho-syntactical structures of the Russian on the basis of already existing knowledge: development of linguistic skills in the field of text processing; subject-specific language and intercultural competences and knowledge of the language, linguistics and language comparison on a highly specialised level by analysing longer demanding written and oral texts; acquisition of language-reflexive competences

Compulsory Module 2: Literature and Cultural Studies (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students advance their knowledge of literary genres, media and epochs. They are able to deal with selected issues in literary and cultural studies in particular with regards to Russian/Slavonic literature/s in a critical and methodically-reflected way. They acquire specialised knowledge of Russian culture and can independently use new working and communication techniques in the field of the new media.
Compulsory Module 3: Linguistics (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students advance their knowledge in theories and methods of recent research in Slavon-ic and general linguistics, in particular in the field of empirical methods; They are famil-iar with the specifics of Slavonic resources (in particular corpora) and are able to inde-pendently apply these methods on examples.
Compulsory Module 4: Master's Thesis Defense (2.5 ECTS-Credits)

Prerequisites for registration: positive evaluation of all other compulsory and elective modules as well as the Master's Thesis
Learning Outcome: Reflection of the Master's Thesis in the overall contexts of the Master's Programme; The focus is on theoretical understanding, methodological foundations, imparting the results of the Master¿s Thesis as well as presentation skills.
