Compulsory Module 24: Bachelor Thesis (10 ECTS-Credits; 2 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of the compulsory module: Introduction to Scientific Working in Mechatronics.
Learning Outcome: Students are able to independently work on a problem in mechatronics observing the rules of good scientific practice and taking into account the relevant social and ethical concerns.
Elective Module A1: Industrial Mechatronic and Building Material Sciences (5 ECTS-Credits) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of Studies Induction and Orientation Stage
Learning Outcome: The students are able to apply the acquired knowledge and their competences acquired in subfields of mechatronics for correctly solving practical problems in the field of industrial mechatronics and materials science. They are familiar with the necessary theoretical founda-tions, methods and theories and know their possible applications and limitations. They are able to adequately document and discuss developed results and solutions.
Elective Module A2: Biomedical Technology (5 ECTS-Credits) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of Studies Induction and Orientation Stage
Learning Outcome: Students -are able to apply the acquired knowledge and their acquired competences in biomedical engineering to correctly solving practical problems in the field; -are familiar with the necessary theoretical foundations, methods and theories and know their possible applications and limitations; -are able to adequately document and discuss acquired results and solutions.
