Compulsory Module 5A: General Education II - Fieldwork (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory modules 2 and 4
Learning Outcome: Students have basic knowledge of the earth as the basis of terrestrial life, of common practice ecological field methods and are able to present scientific content in lecture form.
Compulsory Module 5B: General Education II - Laboratory (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory modules 2 and 4
Learning Outcome: Students have basic knowledge of current practice biochemical working methods and are able to present scientific content in the form of a lecture.
Compulsory Module 7: Botany II (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory modules 2 and 6
Learning Outcome: Students have basic knolwedge of the physiology of plants and of vegetational and population ecology and have insights into the phytodiversity of local habitats.
Compulsory Module 11: Microbiology II (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory modules 2, 4 and 10
Learning Outcome: Students have basic knowledge of microbial physiology and can use the methodological bases of microbiology.
Compulsory Module 13: Ecology II (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 6 h)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory modules 2 and 12
Learning Outcome: Students have basic knowledge of molecular and applied ecology and understand system-stretching and interdisciplinary approaches in ecology.
