Elective Module KIB 2-1: Construction Engineering 2-1 (5 ECTS-Credits)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students possess in-depth knowledge and skills in the design and construction of wooden elements, including connection details, with consideration of structural, physical and manufacturing aspects as well as computerized technologies such as CAD and CNC.
Elective Module KIB 2-2: Construction Engineering 2-2 (5 ECTS-Credits)

Learning Outcome: Students possess fundamental skills in calculation, dimensioning and construction of bridges as well as in-depth knowledge of solid bridge building; they are able to apply their skills to practical tasks.
Elective Module KIB 2-3: Construction Engineering 2-3 (5 ECTS-Credits)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students have basic knowledge of glass and facade construction engineering and are familiar with the functions and selection criteria of fastening elements. They have in-depth knowledge of metal construction, in terms of life span calculations and fracture mechanics, and of special elements in plant construction. Students are able to apply their knowledge to practical situations.
Elective Module KIB 2-4: Construction Engineering 2-4 (5 ECTS-Credits)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students have the special knowledge required to apply FEM correctly in steel construction. They are familiar with methods to check the plausibility of electronic calculations using simple procedures, including their application in practical situations.
