Compulsory Module 1: Fundamentals of Media Pedagogy (7.5 ECTS-Credits; 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Graduates understand media-pedagogical concepts and are able to implement practical media competences.
Compulsory Module 2: Scientific Working, Theory of Knowledge and Theory of Science (7.5 ECTS-Credits; 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Graduates are able to implement the principles of scientific working and to distinguish central types of knowledge and theoretical and methodological approaches.
Compulsory Module 6: Media Education Outside of School (8 ECTS-Credits; 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Graduates have fundamental knowledge and a repertoire of possible scenarios on the share of media education in educational processes over a lifespan. Moreover, they are able to reflect on questions or organization of media-pedagogical actions.
Compulsory Module 10: Project Management and Media Project Work (10 ECTS-Credits; 6 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of Compulsory Module 5
Learning Outcome: Graduates test planning, conception and realization of a subject-didactical-based media project in consideration of legal aspects.
Compulsory Module 11: Bachelor's Thesis (5 ECTS-Credits; 2 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of Compulsory Modules 1, 2, 7 and 8
Learning Outcome: Graduates are able to independently write a thesis on a topic in profession-related media pedagogy, which meets the requirements of scientific practice.
Compulsory Module 13: Subject-Related Practical Course (5 ECTS-Credits; 1 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: successful completion of Compulsory Modules 1 to 5
Learning Outcome: Graduates are able to prepare selected contents of media education in consideration of age, ability, performance level, culture and gender differences for different target groups for school teaching and to impart this information in consideration of the specific situation. In doing so they in particular use media-didactical concepts and reflect on their practical experience.
