Elective Module 1: Religion - Violence - Communication - Worl-order (10 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory module 1 of the first part of the study programme.
Learning Outcome: Becoming familiar with the basic questions and working methods of dramatic and communicative theology in the context of the present research emphasis in the faculty of RGKW: a specialised treatment with a view to the profile and productive tensions of the efforts and to further intensification thereof in a paper.
Elective Module 2: Sinagoge and Churches (10 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory module 1 of the first part of the study programme.
Learning Outcome: Awareness of the anchoring of Jesus and the Church in the Jewish Church and in Christianity - the theological connsequences arising from this perception of the historical interfaces of Judaism and Christianity from political, theological, social, cultural and (Church)-legal perspectives: Knowledge of the many-sided development of the Christian-Jewish relationship and of the increasing separate development of Christianity.
Elective Module 3: Christian Understanding of Human Beings and Naturalism (10 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory module 1 of the first part of the study programme.
Learning Outcome: The ability to take part in the naturalism debate.
Elective Module 4: Philosophical and Theological Excursion (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 8 h)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory module 1 of the first part of the study programme.
Learning Outcome: A better and more lively understanding of the specific content through an expertly-led and prepared viewing on the spot of materials and phenomena not otherwise so easy to appreciate authentically.
Elective Module 5: The People of God in the World Today - Practical Ecclesiology (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)

Learning Outcome: Enhanced insight into ecclesiastical issues focussed on current demands in view of global connections.
Elective Module 6: The Identity of the Church in History and Present Times (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory module 1 of the first part of the study programme.
Learning Outcome: Reflection on the dichotomy between "my being" and "other beings" of Christian identity, diachronicly and synchronicly developed self-confidence in conflict with "the other" both in the inner-Christian space and various other Churches and towards the outside, especially towards Judaism and Islam.
