From the following list one elective is to be chosen. If the elective (enhancement SVWL) is chosen in line with No 1, the enrolment for this module depends on the successful completion of the module (basics) according to No 2 in the respective special area of political economy.

Elective Module 6: SVWL Methods in Empirical Economics (Advanced) (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: successful completion of one elective modules in the field of special economics (fundamentals)
Learning Outcome: Students should be able to understand and assess the presented econometric methods and their application in empirical publications. The focus lies on the application and assessment of econometric procedures, the identification of the strengths and limitations of the analyses and the data used and the assessment of thegeneralisability of the results obtained
Elective Module 7: SVWL Behavioral and Experimental Economics (Advanced) (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: successful completionof one elective modules in the field of special economics (fundamentals)
Learning Outcome: Independent examination and analysis of economic problems with the help of the methods and concepts of behavioural and experimental economics as well as their transfer into one's own action environment; improving of the presentation and communication skills
