Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory module 1
Learning Outcome: Students are able to derive the theory methods and problem issues of human and physical geography emerging from the development of their sub disciplines and apply them to concrete spatial issues.
Compulsory Module 5: Regional Geography I (5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory module 1
Learning Outcome: Students possess knowledge of typical structures and processes in Austria and the Eastern Alps.
Compulsory Module 6: Fundamentals of Social Sciences (5 ECTS-Credits, 2 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students possess a basic concept of social sciences.
Compulsory Module 7: Scientific Working (5 ECTS-Credits, 3h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory module 1
Learning Outcome: Students master the methods of scientific working and can position themselves in scientific and theoretical terms. They are very familiar with project-oriented work and are able to carry out projects autonomously and in teams.
Compulsory Module 13: Regional Geography III (5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory module 1
Learning Outcome: Students understand the basic processes and consequences of global change and can evaluate analytically the complex interactions between society and environment.
Compulsory Module 14: Field Course (5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory module 1
Learning Outcome: Students know the typically European nature areas and social space structures on different measures.
Compulsory Module 22: Integrative Geography 2 (5 ECTS-Credits, 2 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory module 1
Learning Outcome: Students know how to critically question and apply integrative geographical approaches in order to deal with social issues.
