Students must complete elective modules amounting to a total of 15 ECTS-Credits, either elective modules 1, 2 and 3 or two of the elective modules 4 to 11.

Elective Module 2: Basics of Didactics of Religion (5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Taking critical note of and the practical ability to differentiate between the concepts, criteria and reasons for the complex and gender-sensitive reality of teaching and learning in the contexts of school, adult education and community; discussion of the "Innsbruck Model" of religious education as the basis of religious-didactical action in various fields.
Elective Module 5: Philosophical and Theological Excursion (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 8 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: A better and more lively understanding of the specific content through an expertly-led and prepared viewing on the spot of materials and phenomena not otherwise so easy to appreciate authentically.
Elective Module 6: The People of God in the World Today - Practical Ecclesiology (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Enhanced insights into ecclesiastical issues focused on current demands in view of global connections.
Elective Module 8: Aesthetics and the Philosophy of Art (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Knowledge of the concepts, methods, problem issues areas of aesthetics and the philosophy of art, the ability to analyse these contents, to join them together to question independently and to develop further.
Elective Module 10: Cultural and Social Philosophy I (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Basic knowledge of the concepts, methods and problems issues and theories of culture and social philosophy, in-depth knowledge of selected problem issues and theories together with the ability to present these in comprehensible form both orally and in writing. A training in philosophical problem awareness.
