Learning Outcome: Students have in-depth knowledge of highly precise measurement and evaluation procedures in civil engineering and are familiar with the application of these procedures during construction as well as for monitoring structures and outdoor spaces.
Elective Module GVW 3-2: Geotechnics, Surveying and Hydraulic Engineering 3-2 (5 ECTS-Credits; 4 h)

Learning Outcome: Students possess in-depth knowledge of the planning and construction of hydroelectric power plants and are able to apply their knowledge to practical examples.
Elective Module GVW 3-3: Geotechnics, Surveying and Hydraulic Engineering 3-3 (5 ECTS-Credits; 4 h)

Learning Outcome: Students possess in-depth knowledge of river engineering planning and construction and are able to implement their knowledge in practice. They are familiar with the fundamentals of streams, avalanches and erosion and can apply this knowledge to practical examples.
Elective Module GVW 3-4: Geotechnics, Surveying and Hydraulic Engineering 3-4 (2.5 ECTS-Credits; 2 h)

Learning Outcome: Students are familiar with the primary properties of snow, ice and avalanche mechanics and are able to apply this knowledge in practical examples.

Learning Outcome: Students are familiar with various construction site situations in different phases of projects. After visiting a project, students are able to evaluate it according to quality standards, time parameters and the technologies applied.

Learning Outcome: Students possess advanced knowledge and skills in various areas of geotechnical engineering. They can approach complex problems independently, applying correct methodology, and can develop innovative solutions in various geotechnical engineering contexts.

Learning Outcome: Students possess advanced knowledge and skills in various areas of hydraulic engineering. They can approach complex problems independently, applying correct methodology, and can develop innovative solutions in various hydraulic engineering contexts.
