Compulsory Module 3: Media Socialization (7 ECTS-Credits; 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Knowledge about media socialization enables graduates the name the importance and consequences of growing up in media cultures, specific types and preferences of media use (and resulting preferred cultural techniques) in everyday life of the pupils and as a result to draw conclusions for pedagogical institutions in relation to competent, educational acting and target-group-specific concepts.
Compulsory Module 4: Media Communication and Organization of Knowledge (5 ECTS-Credits; 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Graduates have an orientation knowledge in profession-relevant theory and model-formation with regards to media and communication as well as the organization and management of knowledge.
Compulsory Module 7: Research Methods (10 ECTS-Credits; 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Graduates have fundamental knowledge of empirical methods and are able to critically assess research results and to independently apply research methods in small projects.
Compulsory Module 8: Media - Culture - Society (5 ECTS-Credits; 2 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Graduates acquire advanced knowledge on the relationship of developments in media-culture, technology and society.
Compulsory Module 11: Bachelor's Thesis (5 ECTS-Credits; 2 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of Compulsory Modules 1, 2 and 8
Learning Outcome: Graduates are able to independently write a thesis on a topic in profession-related media pedagogy, which meets the requirements of scientific practice.
Compulsory Module 13: Subject-Related Practical Course (5 ECTS-Credits; 1 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: successful completion of Compulsory Modules 1 and 5
Learning Outcome: Graduates are able to prepare selected contents of media education in consideration of age, ability, performance level, culture and gender differences for different target groups for school teaching and to impart this information in consideration of the specific situation. In doing so they in particular use media-didactical concepts and reflect on their practical experience.
